Hello! My name is Dale, I am aGerman Shepherd / Retriever born in 2003 on the 3rd of September. I am related to Early Dog on my Mum's side of the family, her name is Aston. My Dad is called Ajax. I trained with my new Dad in April 2005 and qualified in the May. I am a very clever mutt although I say it myself. On the right is a photo of Dad and me sitting outside the Coach House in Teignmouth. |

Since I have been living with my Dad and guiding him around I have visited lots of new places in Nottingham And quite a few places in South Devon. I met Dad's friend from Birmingham who is called Mark. Don't they talk funny over there, had a job understanding him, nice chap though. Dad and I are out most days and I have learnt lots of new routes in town and our local area. I love going on the tram and I have even got to know which stops we get off at. All the staff know me and say, “hello”, when Dad and me get on. Quite often we go to Langtry's and The Horse & Groom where I get a drink of water and sometimes a bag of Cheddars, but don't tell Alex, my very nice trainer. My Dad took me to Teignmouth for a holiday in May 2007. I had a great time there where I met lots of other Guide Dogs to play with. |

We went to Teignmouth for Christmas 2005 & 2006 . We stayed at The Lifeboat Inn with Helly and Pete. It was great fun living in a pub. On the leftt is a photo of me getting my biscuits from the bar in The Lifeboat Inn, our favourite pub. To find out more about our holidays in Teignmouth just click on the ‘Devon’ link on the left . |
