Welcome to The Lynton House hotel, where my Guide Dog Dale and me have spent several excellent holidays in Teignmouth. Chris & Lorraine make your stay so very relaxing and enjoyable, the Lynton is home from home. Fantastic food and very comfortable beds are just a couple of the treats you will find during your stay. If you are a fan of 'Real Ale' you will find The Ship Inn just a couple of minutes away from The Lynton. |

Lynton House enjoys an enviable position on Teignmouth seafront. It is situated in a quiet, level position opposite the new children's play-park and is only yards from the sands of the main beach, the picturesque river beach and the main shopping centre. |

The seafront, as seen from Lynton House, has a beautifully kept promenade, which is flat and wide, making ‘a stroll along the prom’ a real pleasure. The new children's state-of-the-art play area, adventure golf course and the grand Victorian Pier are all very popular with young and old alike. The Den, a large, grassed area, opposite the Pier is ideal for a leisurely game of cricket or a picnic. Teignmouth Town Beach, just below the promenade, is long and sandy and stretches from the mouth of the River Teign east towards Dawlish. |

The river beach, located on the estuary side of the town (just to the rear of Lynton House), takes you back to days gone by. Here you will find local fishermen mending their nets, boats bobbing up and down with the tide and children splashing in the shallows. |
