The Ship is quite an impressive pub, standing on the corner of Queen Street and the Back Beach overlooking the Teign estuary. It is a long narrow pub which is very popular both to locals and holiday makers alike. As you enter the pub, the bar is immediately in front of you and there is seating to the left and right. The bar is made of stone with a hard wood top and ships portholes set into it at regular intervals. |

The Beers |
In the summer months you can sit outside and relax with a pint and watch the boats in the estuary and look across to the quaint village of Shaldon. Dogs are very welcome at The Ship and there is always a bowl of water somewhere around. |
